MON Taekwondo

Taekwondo teaches children discipline and physical skills whether they want to compete for the gold or just want to learn.  We emphasize a cooperative environment, and learning positive social skills.  This translates to many students excelling in scholastic activities as they develop improved focus.  Wear comfortable, PE-type clothes.

Thu Architecture

In this course, students will design and build three dimensional buildings limited only by their imagination. They’ll learn how architects combine functional needs for a building with designs that excite our imaginations. They will use a wide range of materials (including clay, wood blocks, cardboard etc) to turn their imagination into reality. This program introduces the discipline of architecture to kids, nurtures their talents & encourages the interdisciplinary pollination of STEAM. Min 8 Max 16 | Instructor: Children of Bisheh

TUE Chess

3/31-5/19.  No class 4/14

3-4pm | Grade 1  & up | $150

This class teaches chess fundamentals and covers topics such as opening theory, tactics, and endgame ideas.  Students will learn how each chess piece can move as well as how to navigate through each stage of the game. The class is structured so that there is 30 minutes of lesson and 30 minutes of play.  Students will be able to work together to solve challenging new problems during the lesson, and demonstrate what they learned in the games they play against each other.

FRI Flag Football

 3/27-5/15. No class 4/10, 4/17

3-4pm | Gr K-5 | $130

Flag football is a “no-contact” sport.  This class teaches your child the fundamentals of flag football through age-appropriate skills and drills. It is geared towards developing your child’s ability, confidence and love for the game, as well as teaching sportsmanship values that extend far beyond the playing field.  Each class will end with 20-30 minute of game time.

WED Art

3-4pm | All Grades | $200

This class teaches art techniques, vocabulary and a variety of art concepts including: Portraiture, Perspective, Still life, Realism/Abstraction, Art history, Color theory, Fundamental composition skills, and Line and patterning.  Your child will build a comprehensive art literacy that serves them well not just at the drawing table, but also in life!

FRI Textiles & Fiber Arts

 3/27-5/15. No class 4/10, 4/17

3-4pm | Gr 3 & up | $180 

This class offers a variety of different textiles and fiber arts techniques, including but isn't limited to sewing, embroidery, weaving, macrame, etc. Projects may include Fabric Covered Journals • Felt Stuffed Animals • Shibori and Batik Dyeing • Wool Felted Keychains • Woven Wall Hangings • Decorative Pillows • Zipper Pouches and more!
