In this introductory coding class, students will learn the fundamentals of Python. They will understand the structure of Python, data types and creating variables, input and output, decision making, repetition and creating projects. Students will use school-issued devices for class.

We emphasize creative problem-solving and experimentation and instruction in mixed media art. Lessons connect children to world history and art history, such as African Art, Middle Eastern Art, Greek Art, Egyptian Art, Japanese Woodblocks, American Primitive Scene, Indian Art, Totem Poles, and Chinese Dragons. Students study and learn the styles of the world art masters and then create original artworks in their styles.
