MON TEXTILE & FIBER ARTS $190

This class will introduce students to the basics of textile and fiber art techniques. Processes such as sewing, wool felting, weaving, screen printing, macrame, dyeing, stamping and fabric painting will be introduced. Students will learn to design, plan, and execute their ideas from an abstract notion into a tangible product. Projects may include the following:  • Wool Felted Stuffed Animals • Shibori and Batik Dyeing • Woven Wall Hangings • Decorative Pillows • Zipper Pouches •Drawstring Bags • Screen-print T-shirts • Decorated Tote Bags • Tie Dyeing • Paper making • Bean Bags • Macrame

Students will learn to cook foods mentioned in films like Ratatouille, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, and others! This class teaches awesome cooking skills and recipes through demos and working with kitchen tools. Other activities include Pixar themed games, slide shows and stories.

Students will be excited to learn acting and theatre fundamentals through story-telling, fun games and activities. The activities are geared towards the age and experience level of the students.  They will grow an awareness of their body space and voice projection.  They learn to harness that awareness to create countless interesting and different characters on stage.

WED ART $155

7 classes: 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11.   No class 11/27

This class teaches art techniques, vocabulary and a variety of art concepts including: Portraiture, Perspective, Still life, Realism/Abstraction, Art history, Color theory, Fundamental composition skills, and Line and patterning.  Your child will build a comprehensive art literacy that serves them well not just at the drawing table, but also in life!
