In this coding class, students will be introduced to Scratch programming and Scratch Editor. Course content includes: learning how to create a sprite, basic animation and movement (progressing to more advanced animation towards the end of the course), variables and lists, cloning, use of sensor blocks, and concepts like control structures and loops. Students will work on a final project and present the final project to the class. Min 10.

LEGO Adventures in Engineering

The Lego engineering class is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of design and engineering. Students will crank up their imagination and put their engineering skills to work as they build projects. Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that both new and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system. Min 12.

Spanish Social

In this beginner Spanish class, we focus on strengthening conversational skills and grammar, and building vocabulary. Instruction is provided with singing and games. Students will learn numbers, days of the week, months, animals, colors, telling time, and verbs. By the end of the class, students should have a strong foundation in basic Spanish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, listening, writing and simple, practical Spanish conversations. Min 10.
